You are trusting me with your email address and maybe your phone number. Here is exactly what I do with them.
- I collect your email address, and your phone number if you give it to me.
- I use them to email and text you. That is all.
- I do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for their marketing.
- You can stop the emails or the texts at any time.
Who this is
This site is run by Rob M. Thompson, also known as Family Champ. In this policy, "I," "me," and "we" all mean Rob M. Thompson and Family Champ. "You" means the person using this site or signing up for anything on it.
This policy covers robmthompson.com and the emails and text messages I send.
What I collect
I collect only what you give me and a small amount of basic technical information.
- Email address. When you sign up for the free book, the 5-day email course, or anything else on this site.
- Phone number. Only if you choose to give it to me and agree to receive text messages.
- Your name. If a form asks for it and you provide it.
- Messages you send me. If you reply to an email or a text, I keep that reply.
- Basic technical information. Like most websites, the tools that run this site may record things such as the page you signed up on, your browser type, and your IP address.
How I use it
- To send you what you signed up for, including the book and the 5-day email course.
- To send you other emails from me: teaching, encouragement, updates, and offers.
- To send you text messages, if you agreed to receive them.
- To answer you when you reach out.
- To keep the site working and to prevent abuse.
I do not sell or share your information
I do not sell your information. I do not rent it. I do not trade it. I do not share it with anyone for their own marketing or advertising.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
The only others who handle your information are the service providers that make sending possible, such as my email and text messaging platform and the phone carriers that deliver the messages. They may use your information only to provide that service to me, not for their own purposes.
I may also disclose information if the law requires it, such as in response to a valid court order.
Text messages
If you give me your phone number and agree to receive texts, I will send you text messages from Rob M. Thompson and Family Champ. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help.

Emails
Every email I send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and the emails stop.
Unsubscribing from email does not automatically stop text messages, and replying STOP to a text does not automatically stop emails. You control each one separately.
Your choices
You are in control of your information. At any time you can:
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email.
- Stop text messages by replying STOP.
- Ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email [email protected] and I will take care of it.
How long I keep it
I keep your information for as long as you are subscribed or as long as I need it for the reasons above. If you ask me to delete it, I will, except for the minimum I am required to keep, such as a record that you opted out so I do not contact you again.
Keeping it safe
I use reputable service providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so I cannot promise absolute security, but I take it seriously.
Children
This site is written for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and I do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given me information, email me and I will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If the change is significant, I will let subscribers know by email.
